HEALING LYMPH EDEMA

Natural Healthy Remedies To Help Lymphedema

I know many of you will be coming to this site or others looking for a cure, but sadly that is not the case with lymphedma, but that does not mean that it cannot be managed. Life throws some of us into situations that will require us to dig deep within ourselves to find the strength to remain strong. Lymphedema is one of those situations.

Living with lymphedmas makes it very difficult for us to rise above the ailment, as we look in the mirror we see ourselves, and we acknowledge how others see us, and yes it can be a struggle. However, we are strong, and stress is one of our number one enemies. Stress will create even more problems that create even a greater imbalance in our healing energy. Let’s talk a little about what lymphedema is, and then we will take a few deep cleansing breaths, and move on to what you can do to help keep yourself healthy emotionally and physically.

Discover Natural Healty Remedies For Lymphedema

A disorder in the lymphatic system gives rise to the condition known as lymphedema. Lymph vessels are the areas where the lymph collects in a standard body, the vessels return this liquid back to the bloodstream after soaking up the pathogens and microbes. The flow of lymph in the lymphatic vessels is in one direction as the vessels have valves that let for omnidirectional flow only. The lymphatic liquid can stay in the tissue spaces if the lymphatic vessels are blocked, due to some reason-this causing swelling in the area where the liquid amasses.

This is the fact that at least 35 to forty percent of the roughly 161,000 ladies afflicted by breast cancer who had lymph nodes excised in surgical procedures each year frequently develop lymphedema and its attendant complications. The natural drainage of the tissues in an area is blocked and eliminated when a tumor and all the diagonally opposite lymph nodes are excised the site of excision, all the lymphatic liquid will amass and become stagnant over time, and in all the tissues of the limb this blockage will cause conspicuous swelling. This ends in the swelling of the limb, often the swelling may cause the limb to extend many times its ordinary size-this causes a large amount of real and cultured pain.

The recurrence of cancer may severely irritate the lymphedema, this is often because the presence of cancers pulls the mineral sodium and this will cause further along in treating or handling edema, these cures shouldn’t be used alone and must be used to support traditional treatment methodologies.

As I stated earlier there is no cure, and you will need to manage your lymphedema with a well rounded treatment plan. The herbs and nutritional supplement affect each individual differently, and in some cases they are very helpful in managing edema, but should not be used by themselves.

Treatment options will include massage, compression garments, and prescription drugs together with herbs and supplements to give you the patient the most benefit in a safe and effective manner.

  • Take you weight seriously. Extra weight means your body has to work harder, as does your circulatory system.
  •  Detoxify your diet cutting out coffee, alcohol, high fat foods, and processed foods high in sodium, highly processes glucose foods, white bread, red meats artificial sweeteners, soda, and use a water filter if you are drinking city water. Chlorine in the water is very unhealthy, and noxious.
  • Increase natural yogurts, increase fluid intake, use whole wheat products; fresh fruit (wash all fruit very well. A very weak solution of peroxide in a spray bottle can be used to finish cleansing the fruit), use natural sea salt for cooking, natural herbal teas (I am a vegan, but alas my family is not, but I have found from my own experience that herbal flavored teas make excellent marinates for organic chicken, many delicious flavors to choose from)

Pain

One of the lingering problems with lymphedema is the continued pain, that involves the joints, muscles and scars. This can prevent you from going out and enjoying life. You should listen to your body, and not push yourself too hard, but you also need to know that you will need to push yourself beyond the pain. This can be diffucult as anyone with a chronic illness can tell you, but the pain is not you, the lymphedema is not you.

The symptoms match my own. I doubt if my doctor would have found this problem. He would think it was due to hbp. And hbp (I doubt) would cause my body to ache.

    Hi ,
    GREAT !!!!
My grand mother was suffered from lymphedema. I know how a person suffered from the lymphedema feels. Weight lifting is also a good treatment, but what about her, she would not do it more properly. After a long search on the treatment on lymphedema and swelling in the body, I found a book which is written by Peter Hodge. The book is based on his experience and 6 years of research on the lymphedema and its treatment.Go through the Lymphedema advice to get a better treatment for the lymphedema.

    Thanks
    Avril
