How to Prevent Hypoglycemia – 5 Ways

There are many natural health remedies for treating many conditions learn more .

When the body's blood sugar levels reach drastically low levels, the medical condition is called Hypoglycemia. Glucose is extremely crucial to the smooth operation of the main organs of the body such as the brain and heart. Mild hypoglycemia can possibly cause dizziness, confusion, anxiety, and the trembling of limbs. Severe hypoglycemia can possible cause heart palpitations, seizures, the loss of consciousness, and even comas. Because their body is unable to create or regulate insulin properly, diabetics are especially at risk for hypoglycemia episodes. For them, It is even more critical that they learn to recognize and prevent hypoglycemia in order to prevent being  hurt by it's harmful effects.

1. There are many drugs of diabetes . There are some medicines, such as alcohol and other substances, that can also lower your body's glucose levels. Taking medications can be tricky as you constantly have to be aware of the possible drug interactions with your food intake. Before starting to take any medicine, you should ask your doctor or check with a drug manual to find out if it has any affect on blood sugar levels, and if so, make the necessary dietary adjustments to ensure that you won't suffer "insulin shock".

2. One of the best things that you can do to prevent hypoglycemia is to eat your meals at the same time every day. By not skipping or delaying meals, and eating the same amount of food at each meal or snack time, you help to stabilize the amount of glucose entering your body at any one time.

3. Watch the TYPE of foods that you eat. If your blood sugar is continually near or below 50 mg/dl, you are in danger of severe hypoglycemia. You should talk to both your nutritionist and your doctor to develop a series of meal plans geared towards keeping your blood sugar levels at optimum levels. And even though your doctor is your ultimate guide in regards to treating your diabetes, most doctors are not well trained in nutrition. Having your nutritionist develop a meal plan and then running it pass your doctor is probably the best way to go.

4. Before you embark on a strenuous exercise routine, be careful. Physical exercise gets your body's adrenaline pumping and makes your body's organs work harder. The compounding of these two factors has the potential to deplete much of the glucose in your body. If your are at risk for hypoglycemia, before you begin exercising you should consume some healthy carbohydrates. This can greatly help to keep your blood glucose levels in the normal zone.

5. Constantly keep track of your blood sugar levels. Often, you won't experience symptoms of low blood sugar until you are already in the hypoglycemia range. Monitoring your sugar levels is the only reliable way to ensure that you become aware of a potential hypoglycemic situation before it actually occurs. Competent glucose monitors are relatively inexpensive these days, making it very easy to monitor your situation.

But what do you do if you have already begun to experience the signs of low blood glucose? The fastest means of alleviating them is to raise your glucose levels to a normal range again. Typically this is done by eating a carbohydrate such as a banana, some crackers, etc. Many diabetics carry around a snack with them for just this type of circumstance. The best cure, however, is to follow dietary rules to help keep you from getting into a bad situation.

Signs & Symptoms

Eventually, obstructive sleep apnea or OSA takes its toll on an individual's standard of life. There are some easy-to-identify signs and symptoms related to OSA.

    * Do you choke or gasp for breath while you sleep?

    * Do you are feeling overly tired after a common night of sleep?

How To Make Sleep Your Weight Lose Buddy

Author: Mary Desaulniers

My friend, Gail, has been a restless sleeper since childhood. "It's rare that I get a goodnight's sleep," she confided in me several years ago. Her weight has been a problem as well, spiraling upwards of 60 lbs within the past 20 years. Like most of us, her exercise and diet plans begin with enthusiasm but fizzle out within the first month. "Just too tired to keep them going" is her excuse. It wasn't until her doctor referred her to the Sleep Specialist that things began to change. Within 6 months, she lost 25 lbs. She began exercising and now she feels much more optimistic about her future. "I'll get down to where I want to be," she said. "But the great thing is I can sleep like a baby at night."

Gail's situation points to a distinct connection between sleep and weight. Recently, sleep deprivation has been identified as one of the major problems of our internet culture. Not coincidentally, obesity (despite the many diets that are around) is at its highest level. The connection between sleep deprivation and weight gain is no longer in the realm of conjecture. Several studies show a direct correlation between sleep and weight.

Research shows that sleep directly affects hunger. At the New York Obesity Research Center of St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, scientists have identified a direct correlation between the amount of sleep you get and your body's secretion of hormones related to satiation and hunger. Leptin is the hormone that is released when your body feels satiated and full. It's the hormone that makes you push your plate away from you at the dinner table. Ghrelin is the hormone that is secreted when your body needs nourishment; it's the hormone that makes you say "Feed me! I want more!" While leptin suppresses appetite, ghrelin stimulates it. Lack of sleep decreases the body's production of leptin by 18% and increases the body's production of ghrelin by 15%.

In essence, sleep deprivation puts the body in starvation mode, stimulating the cells to ask for more food. The result is you eat more. Does feeling hungry at 3 am sound familiar?

How then can you enlist sleep to be one of your weight loss allies?

First of all, make sure that you are on a healthy eating plan. Having the best sleep every night and the worst diet in the world at the same time will not make you lose weight. Make sure that your daily food intake includes 25-30% protein, 45-55% complex carbohydrates, 15-20% essential fatty acids.

Secondly, make sure you are on an effective exercise program 4-5 times a week. The best workout includes both weight training and aerobics. Exercise PLUS protein is the most effective way to sculpt your body.

Now—we can talk sleep. Just having enough sleep will not make you lose weight, but it will surely help you stick to your weight loss plans. Here are some suggestions for enhancing your sleep experience.

1.Limit your consumption of alcohol and caffeine especially in the evening. Alcohol will give you unnecessary calories; so eliminating it entirely while you are trying to lose weight might not be a bad idea. Caffeine (especially from green tea) taken during the day can enhance your metabolism and burn fat. But caffeine in the evening can bring about a restless night.

2.Develop a personal sense of sleep hygiene. This means cultivating a regular wake and sleep schedule so that you can program your body to a routine. Find a sleep ritual that works best for you. For me, it's reading in bed. For Gail, it's listening to a sleep enhancing CD. Find a ritual that helps your body understand that you are ready for sleep.

3.Don't go to bed hungry. While this does not mean that you should have a heavy snack at bedtime, it does suggest that a light snack, rich in sleep-inducing amino acid tryptophan, can help. Warm low-fat milk is best. You can add a few( no more than 2-3) lean slices of lean turkey( also rich in tryptophan) if you wish.

4.Exercise at least 3 hours before bedtime. Physical activity contributes to the body's need for sleep. But exercising too close to bedtime can actually prevent sleep because exercise raises the body's metabolism and alertness level.

5.Take a warm bath an hour before bedtime. Your body temperature will slowly drop after you get out of the tub making you feel tired.

6.Create a Bed Sanctuary. If you want to sleep well, make your bedroom sleep- conducive. Get the best mattress you can afford, the most comfortable pillows, the best blackout shades. Keep your bedroom cool and dark. Eliminate noise by using earplugs.

7.Eliminate distractions like a humming TV, computer or phone.

8.Keep your days active. Resist the temptation of nap so that your body will be ready for a restful sleep at night.

Interstitial cystitis if not treated properly can have long-lasting effects on your health. The scale of symptoms due to interstitial cystitis regularly fluctuates, and some individuals may experience times of remission. Though there is no treatment that reliably eliminates interstitial cystitis, a selection of medicines and other therapies offer relief. The signs and symptoms of interstitial cystitis change from person to person. If you have interstitial cystitis, your symptoms might also change over time, intermittently flaring responding to common triggers like menstruation, seasonal allergies, stress and sexual activity.

An medication product that many doctors swear by, and patients are having success with is called Zantac. Generic name Ranitidine. You may try this if the natural remedies do not provide you with relief.

You may have chronic cystitis if you find that you:

  • Feel the need to urinate frequently
  • Urinate frequently only small amounts
  • Get up in the night to urinate
  • Chronic UTI’s
  • Pelvis pain
  • Pain in your vaginal or scrotum areas
  • Pain with sex

6 Remedies For Urethritis and UTI Cystitis That You Can Try At Home

by Mark Adwood

The urinary tract is composed of the urethra, the bladder, the ureters, and the kidneys. Collectively, the urinary tract produces, stores, and discards urine. The kidneys filter the blood. When wastes that were collected mix with water, urine is produced.

From the kidneys, urine flows to the bladder where it is stored through the ureters. When you pee, urine is discarded or excreted out of the body through the urethra.

The urine is normally sterile or devoid of bacteria. Its chemical composition is just enough to prevent bacteria from thriving. However, there are instances when bacteria can find their way through the urinary tract.

When this happens, the tract gets infected. This is called urinary tract infection.

When bacteria affect the urethra, the infection is called urethritis. When bacteria reach the bladder and infect it, the UTI is now called cystitis. Bacteria can also reach and affect the kidneys and this is what we should really try hard to avoid.

If bacteria reach the kidneys and infect them, you now have what is called pyelonephritis. This can cause damages to the kidney tissues.

Several factors could increase the chances of having urinary tract infection. One of these factors is being unhygienic. The genital area should always be kept clean. Bacteria in this area could enter the urethra. For females, when you wash after urinating, wash from front to back to prevent bacteria from the anal region to reach the front side.

Another factor especially for females is sexual intercourse. The sexual activity could lead to the introduction of bacteria into the urethra.

You will know if you have urinary tract infection if you have any of the following signs and symptoms.

* You feel pain when you urinate. This pain is usually described as ‘burning sensation'.
* You feel the urge to urinate more frequently but you release low amounts of urine only.
* You feel pain in the lower back and pelvic region.
* Your urine looks cloudy.
* Your urine has blood in it.
* Your urine has foul odor.

Urinary tract infections can be diagnosed using urinalysis. Though this procedure is relatively easy for regular physical examinations, it becomes a little complicated when the goal is to determine presence of bacteria to identify or rule out urinary tract infection. You cannot just get a sterile container and collect urine.

The sample has to be what is called clean-catch. This is to ensure that if bacteria will be identified in the urinalysis, they come from the urine itself and not from the genital area or the area surrounding it.

Once bacteria are identified, samples are taken and grown in a culture. From this sample, antibiotics can be tested to determine which type will be best to use.

Antibiotics are not the only ways to treat UTI, be it cystitis or urethritis. There are other ways that can be used. Here are some of them.

Urethritis and UTI Cystitis home remedies:

* Drink cucumber juice. It is a very good diuretic.
* Drink radish leaves juice.
* Take decoction of lady's fingers.
* Drink spinach juice combined with coconut water. This has diuretic effect because of the coconut water.
* Drink lemon juice. This will relieve the burning sensation. This will also help stop bleeding.
* Drink nettle tea. This helps cleanse the body of toxins and wastes.

These urethritis and cystitis home remedies are not just good for treating UTI. They can also used to prevent them.

For a complete do-it-yourself 12-Hour home urinary tract infection natural remedy, visit and be UTI clear by tomorrow! It is important because urinary tract infection can spread to the kidneys. If not treated promptly and properly, this could lead to more serious health problems.

Causes Of Bone Spurs In Shoulders Discover Natural Healthy Remedies

Causes Of Bone Spurs In Shoulders Discover Natural Healthy Remedies

Discover Natural Healthy Treatments for Bone Spurs

Bone spurs, also called osteophytes, are bony projections that develop along the sides of bones. The bone spurs themselves aren't painful, but they can rub against nearby nerves and bones and cause discomfort, and pain. It is important to note that bone spurs can form on any bone, and they frequently form where bones meet one another in your joints. But, they may also be found where ligaments and tendons hook up with bone.

Bone spurs can also form on the bones of your backbone. What treatment, if any, that you receive for your bone spurs relies on where they are found and how they have an effect on your health. Bone spurs often happen as a consequence of an illness or condition typically with osteoarthritis. As osteoarthritis breaks down the cartilage in your joint, your body attempts to patch up the loss of cartilage. Regularly this suggests the body is making new areas of bone along the perimeters of your current bones.

Bone spurs are the hallmark of other problems with your tendons, and cartilage. A bone spur condition causes bony growths to form on the ligaments of your backbone. Bone spurs can make contributions to a narrowing of the bones that make up your backbone (spinal stenosis), putting pressure on your spinal twine. They have been found in older people who do not have osteoarthritis or other illnesses. Your body may create bone spurs to add stability to aging joints. Bone spurs may help redistribute your weight to guard areas of cartilage that are starting to break down.

As osteoarthritis breaks down the cartilage in joints, your body attempts to fix the loss making new build up of bone along the perimeters of your present bones.

This sometimes happens replying to pressure, rubbing, or stress that continues over a long time period.

  • Plantar fasciitis : A bone spur, occasionally called a heel spur, can form where the connective tissue ( fascia ) connects to your heel bone ( calcaneus ). The spur results from chronic irritation or inflammation of the connective tissue, but it does not cause the discomfort related to plantar fasciitis.
  • Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis ( DISH ) : This condition causes bony growths to form on the ligaments of your backbone.
  • Spinal stenosis : Bone spurs can make contributions to a narrowing of the bones that make up your backbone ( spinal stenosis ), putting pressure on your spinal rope.
  • Frequently you do not even realize you have bone spurs till an X-ray for another condition discovers the growths.

Common Symptoms Include:

  • Having pain in joints
  • Loss of range of motion in your joints

Location of bone spur can determine other symptoms where your bone spurs are located determine where you'll feel pain.

  • Bone Spur In your shoulder, bone spurs can restrict the range of motion of your arm. Bone spurs can rub on your rotator cuff, a group of tendons that help control your shoulder movements. This can cause swelling (tendinitis) and tears in your rotator cuff.
  • Bone Spur In your knee, bone spurs may make it painful to extend and bend your leg. Bone spurs can get in the way of bones and tendons that keep your knee operating smoothly.
  • Bone Spur On your spine, bone spurs can push against your nerves, or even your spinal cord, causing pain and numbness elsewhere in your body.
  • Bone Spur On your neck, cervical bone spurs can protrude inward, occasionally making it difficult to swallow or painful to breathe. Bone spurs can also push against veins, restricting blood flow to your brain.
  • Bone Spur On your fingers, bone spurs may appear as hard lumps under your skin, making your fingers appear disfigured. Bone spurs on your fingers may cause intermittent pain.

Bone spurs can crack, and flake off from  larger bones, becoming what physicians call loose bodies. Sometimes  bone spurs that flake off will float in your joint or become embedded in the lining of the joint. Loose bodies can drift into the areas in between the bones that make up your joint, getting in the way and causing intermittent locking a sensation that something is stopping you from moving your joint. This joint locking can are temporary as the loose bodies move into and out of the way of your joint. If your bone spurs don't cause you any discomfort or if they do not limit any range of motion in your joints, then you likely will not need treatment. If you want treatment, it's often aimed at the underlying problem to stop further joint damage.

If bone spurs are causing pain or discomfort then possible treatments may include:

  • Natural remedy treatments for the causes of bone spurs may include physical therapy, stretching, deep tissue massage and weight loss programs attempting to reduce the stress on the joints involved. If you have bone spurs you might try using Glucosamine–chondroitin. Glucosamine sulfate

Dosage 1500–2000 mg/day, divided doses &#43 chondroitin sulfate 1000 mg/da

This combination is importantfor the building blocks in healthy cartilage. As we age or if we have been very active our bodiesstart to slow down, and do not produce the right amounts of lubricant to our joints, and this can cause damage to our joints and surrounding tissues. Glucosamine–chondroitin supplements may help repair damaged tissues, but they are also used principally to delay the progression of joint inflammation and alleviating its symptoms.

  • Treating the symptoms may include rest, ice, stretching, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen.
  • When  the bone spur is in the foot as in plantar fasciitis, then orthotics, plantar fascilties brace, new footwear and extra padding in the show may help.
  • Massage
  • Heat or Ice Treatments
  • If your bone spurs are causing severe symptoms for a long period of time a physician may also suggest a corticosteroid injection reduce pain and inflammation of the soft tissues next to the bone spur.

If treatment of the bone spurs are not successful and bone spurs begin to limit your range of motion or become extremely painful you may require surgery.

What surgical options you have will rely on where your bone spurs are found and your own situation. For example, bone spurs are commonly removed as a part of a more complete surgery for arthritis.
If you have arthritis in your elbow, as an example, your surgeon may remove bone spurs when she is making other repairs to your elbow.

Surgery to get rid of bone spurs can be done in an open process, meaning the surgeon cuts open the skin around your joint to get access to your joint.

The Causes Of Eczema The Causes Of Eczema

by Amanda Fain

Eczema is a skin condition that affects the lives of many people, it can be quite distressing as it can affect your physical appearance. Before the condition can be successfully treated, it is important to firstly establish the causes of the condition. Treating the symptoms will do nothing if the underlying causes remain, all problems no matter what they are should be tackled at the root.

remedies for eczema, eczema treatments

Eczema is known as an ‘auto-immune' response, it’s actually the body's response to attempt to remove what the body sees as a foreign threat. Research has suggested that there can be a variety of different causes for the condition, including intolerance to certain food-stuffs, or just because of a poor diet. Allergies to certain types of food can adversely affect the immune system, which can ultimately lead to an increase in the frequency of auto-immune reactions, in particular eczema. If you are suffering from allergy-induced eczema, it is highly possible that simply eradicating that food from your diet will be sufficient to stop your suffering!

Many sufferers are completely oblivious as to what causes their condition, although the vast majority of people are willing to seek help in any way they can. With just a small amount of effort you can train yourself to discover which foods make your eczema worse and which make it better, you can discover this using trial and error testing. If you can find out what makes your eczema bad then perhaps you can reduce the need for any medical intervention.

At one time, it was proposed that eczema may stem from deep emotional triggers such as stress and depression. Although these conditions certainly make the symptoms of eczema worse, now scientists think that these have no direct link to eczema. Eczema can also for a variety of completely unrelated reasons. For more info see

Many children who suffer from this condition get upset because the other children might avoid them. I myself suffer from psoriasis, which is very similar to eczema, I remember at school everyone asked me if it was contagious. Well contrary to popular belief, eczema is not contagious, so there’s no reason to avoid any sufferers!

There are a wide range of factors which can contribute to the severity of a sufferer's eczema. Firstly, the habitat and environment in which the sufferer lives can have a marked impact on the severity of their condition. People that live in dryer, warmer climates tend to suffer from more severe symptoms. Diet can also affect the symptoms experienced by eczema sufferers. It is common to find sufferers with low levels of amino acids and fatty acids in their diets, which can contribute towards restricting skin growth and repair. The use of fragranced grooming products can irritate the skin and can cause the skin to dry out, this can ultimately cause the eczema to itch. To reverse these factors, it is important to ensure the environment is as humid as possible, the sufferer should eat a healthy balanced diet, and also avoid using perfumed products until the condition has been fully resolved.

It is also possible for eczema to stem from a bacterial infection, which can cause a reaction within the immune system which can trigger the condition. It is therefore important to consult your doctor regularly to help to identify the cause of your symptoms, and to treat them at source to avoid the spread of your eczema.

Dandruff is an extremely annoying skin disorder of the scalp. It is a problem that affects half of the world population. There are many natural dandruff remedies that may help you to get rid of dandruff.

1. One of the common natural dandruff remedies is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is an important ingredient of many anti-dandruff shampoos.

2. Add two spoonfuls pure vinegar in six spoonfuls water, and apply it on the scalp with cotton wool before going to bed. Wash your hair next morning. After shampooing, rinse again with vinegar water. Continue this once a week for at least three months.

3. Use a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo. It will reduce the speed of the growth of the cells on the scalp, thus lessening the cell replacement and decreasing the amount of dandruff. The shampoo should also have an antiseptic that will help prevent infection of your scalp so as to reduce itchiness.

4. Stop using hairsprays, gels and hair-coloring products. They are the main culprit that harms your hair and scalp.

5. Another natural dandruff remedy is neem oil. It gives relief from itchiness and redness of scalp associated with dandruff and psoriasis conditions.

6. Restrict yourself from changing shampoos everyday and stick to one that suits your constitution and scalp condition. Always keep the scalp clean by regular cleansing to prevent hair fall and other hair related problems.

7. Mix one teaspoon lemon juice with two teaspoons vinegar. Massage this mixture to the scalp. After massaging, apply egg shampoo to the hair. This is a very common natural dandruff remedy.

8. Boil two cups dried thyme and water in a span of 10 minutes. When the concoction cools, massage the hair and scalp and let it stay for half an hour. Then wash with water.

There is no set formula, but hiding away in your home, and avoiding situations that make you uncomfortable are the answer.  Natural remedies for anxiety will require you to take a multi tiered approach.

Simple Natural Anxiety Remedies Tip:

Take 15 deep breaths, counting quietly out loud with your eyes closed, focusing on your breathing. If you can find a wall or stable object lean against it.  I know you have heard this before, but it does work as your brain is short circuited. When you close your eyes, you remove one stimulus, when you count as you breathe; you are creating another stimulus for your brain to focus on. See yourself calm, and your anxiety gone. It really does work.

Most panic or anxiety attacks only last 2-15 minutes. It may feel like more, because your anxiety level begins to build as you envision what is the stress, but the actually anxiety attack is much shorter than you think in duration. Of course this is all dependent on variables.

If you can back away, and get distance between you and the negative energy. You do not want to flee this will only build more negative energy instead , then turn yourself away from it. Focus on a positive energy source.

I began having panic attacks after having dental work done. They covered up my face, and put the dental dam in, and I felt like I was choking on my own saliva, and I panicked, Big time.

Bolted upright, and sent the dental tray flying, and my $400 dollar crown smashed on the floor. The dentist, and staff asked me not to come back.. So I know what panic is, and I still can't go to the dentist without the gnawing that eats at my stomach all the way there, but when I arrive I find something to focus on if I should  the hot flush, and panic rising. I will concentrate on that spot. I also download a book on my mp3, and I listen to it in situations that I feel uncomfortable in, and usually I am so engrossed (if it is a good book) that I have had less panic attacks.

If you are uncomfortable at social events or gatherings (I have this too) keep yourself busy with a task or job. I always volunteer to clean, dishes and by being busy I keep myself distracted. Also having a support person, that can help you though the anxiety. If you feel anxious you can take their hand, or have them help distract you. I have many brooches or pins I wear out in social situations. I call them my conversation pins, because they are unique and someone always comments which starts a conversation, and I find sometimes I really enjoy the conversations that develop, and I forget that I worried, felt anxious and dreaded going all day.

I also have found that Valerian root, passion flower, and magnesium combined are very helpful, but to get the most benefit from Valerian root, it needs to be taken for 7-10 days for the blood levels to rise.

Finding a distinctive element is key to gaining control over panic attacks, rather than them controlling you!

Natural Remedies Anxiety

Natural remedies anxiety are available in many forms, including natural supplements, nutritious well-balanced meals, cognitive behavior, breathing techniques, consultative psychological therapy, meditation and positive self-talk.

Today, I'm going to address a very significant issue in natural remedies for anxiety, which affects many people unknowingly. Many people feel anxious and depressed, and justified it by thinking that it was due to their meaningless life, or that the stress at work was getting them down. However, those anxiety feelings could be simply due to an imbalance in the body's biochemistry.

Millions around the world suffer from magnesium deficiency today without knowing. Or, at least they don't realize that their health problems may be due to a lack of magnesium. Magnesium deficiency is an epidemic around the Western world which causes depression anxiety. This is an alarming, yet little known factor.

In natural anxiety remedies, magnesium is used in therapy because of its relaxing effect and is essential for over 300 chemical reactions in the body.

Research shows that magnesium may be considered the most deficient nutrient mineral in the United States due to a poor diet which consists mainly of processed foods ~ like chips, pizza and burgers, coke, coupled with a stressful and hectic sedentary lifestyle. More than 70 percent of Americans are magnesium deficient due to a lack of consumption of green leafy vegetables in their daily diet. And daily stress further depletes the body and causes an imbalance in the body's biochemistry.

The body needs magnesium to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which powers all your bodily functions and reactions. A magnesium deficiency causes ATP production to fall, and the body forms lactic acid instead. Excessive levels of lactic acid causes anxiety and irritability symptoms, amidst many other ailments, such as fatigue, muscle soreness, cramps and even twitching, or in some cases, a burning sensation which locks up your muscles due to an oxygen debt caused by lactic acid.

Well, who wouldn't be feeling anxious and irritable, when you're just plain tired and in pain! One of the simplest way of natural remedies anxiety, if your anxiety is due to an imbalance in your biochemistry, is taking magnesium supplements to balance out your bodily chemistry. Everybody can do instantly, and reap instant results!

Apart from being a natural anxiety remedy, magnesium has many other natural benefits too. For example, together with potassium, it can be used to relieve sore cramps, and relax muscle tissue. Nutritional experts advise feeding an unruly and hyperactive child with a couple of bananas to calm him down. Bananas are rich in magnesium and potassium, amidst a whole lot of other great nutrients too!
